An equestrian “field of dreams”, the Carolina Horse Park Foundation (CHP) is a 250-acre nationally recognized, premiere equine competition venue located in Hoke County, NC. Founded in 1998 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization by equestrian enthusiasts, the Park is dedicated to the preservation of open space for equestrian and recreational purposes.Today, CHP is the only equestrian facility in the mid-Atlantic region with multi-disciplined capabilities suitable for championship level equine competitions. CHP features 192 permanent stalls, 3 show jumping rings, a dressage area with space for up to seven rings, six championship level cross country courses, driving obstacles and a 7/8 mile steeplechase track, all with ideal footing. There is ample space for lunging, hacking and warm-up. For competitors with recreational vehicles we have sixty-five hook-up sites with water and electricity.
