Santa Barbara Horse Shows Cancelled
Excessive Rain And Inclement Forecast To Blame
All up and down the west coast, show jumpers have been dealing with rain and the resulting mud, inhibiting their ability to get horses into any arena that is not covered.
Now, after weeks of rain and a gloomy forecast for the coming weekend, West Palms Events has cancelled the Santa Barbara Horse Show.
These were to be brand new four week winter circuit in Central California called the Santa Barbara Surfside Classic, scheduled for February 22 – 26 and the Santa Barbara Sunshine Classic, scheduled for March 1 – 5.
Things are sure to dry out before West Palms Events’ Central California Spring Horse Show Series at the Paso Robles Horse Park!. This series will be hosting the World Champion Hunter Rider (WCHR) and the Young Jumper Championship, May 31-June 4!
Other special classes and events will include the USHJA National and InternationalHunter Derbies, the GGT-Footing Grand Prix Series, multiple wine tastings, VIP Dinners, exhibitor and trainer parties and a Season Finale Party at CaliPaso Winery!
